Who is Pythia?

Pythia, the Oracle of Delphi, was arguably the most powerful woman in the Ancient World.

Her temple was considered the center of the world, a focal point for intellectual inquiry, and a showcase for art treasures.  In times of uncertainty, Greek kings and foreign rulers sought her counsel before making important decisions determining their future.

During this period, Greece saw incredible advances in art, poetry, science, math, philosophy, technology and the invention of the city-state.  Her narratives and influence on historical figures (Alexander the Great, Socrates, Pythagoras)  and key world events helped create our modern civilization.
